What You'll Do
- Lead category strategy across technology spend areas including software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and professional services.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align sourcing initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Drive supplier evaluations, RFPs, negotiations, and contract discussions from strategy through execution.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to maximize value and business outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders and guide sourcing decisions through data-driven recommendations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or vendor management.
- Experience leading category strategies and partnering with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive initiatives in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and business acumen skills.
- Experience within healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred.
