A growing construction company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead corporate billing, collections, and cash application functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a steady, hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring others and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, train, and support the Billing and Collections team
- Oversee accurate billing and timely collection of receivables
- Review AR aging and develop strategies to reduce past-due balances
- Ensure compliance with lien rights, contracts, and construction documentation
- Partner with project managers and leadership to resolve billing issues
- Provide AR metrics, cash forecasts, and reports to senior management
- Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements
- Support ERP enhancements (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 years of AR and collections experience
- 5 years in a supervisory or management role
- Construction industry experience required
- Strong understanding of lien and tax compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
