Job Description: As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of our warehouse team, ensuring efficient production output for shipping and receiving, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial in driving the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and feedback.
Oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Foster a positive team culture, encouraging teamwork and high morale among associates.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Experience working with wine and spirits preferred.
Forklift experience required.
