Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality engineering initiatives within cross-functional Agile teams. This role is responsible for driving test automation excellence, defining quality strategies, and ensuring high standards across the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in test automation, Agile practices, and CI/CD environments, along with the ability to mentor teams and influence quality engineering best practices across squads, chapters, and tribes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a thought leader in Quality Engineering, promoting best practices across Agile teams
- Lead and collaborate with Agile squads, chapters, and tribes to drive quality initiatives
- Own test strategy, planning, framework design, and execution
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, reusable, and maintainable automation code
- Develop comprehensive test coverage across:
- UI (web and mobile applications)
- APIs and backend systems
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve coverage
- Organize automated tests into scalable and repeatable test suites
- Author and manage test cases using test management tools
- Analyze defects, reproduce issues, and collaborate with teams to resolve them efficiently
- Promote adherence to quality governance standards and processes
- Drive continuous improvement using metrics, feedback, and innovative testing approaches
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Proven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience in testing:
- Web and mobile applications
- APIs and backend systems
- Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools (VersionOne, Quality Center, etc.)
- Experience working in CI/CD/CT environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTTP, proxies, caching)
- Experience working in cloud environments
- Proficiency in SQL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
