Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. This individual will lead our quality assurance initiatives and coordinate and monitor the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS) at our production site to ensure that products meet internal, customer, and regulatory expectations. The position supports the VPO in all quality-related communication tasks with internal and external customers and promotes a quality-oriented and continuous improvement mindset within the company.

Main Responsibilities

Quality System

· Monthly reporting of quality and food safety system data per documented corporate procedures locally as well as regionally as required; uses this data along with IMS audit results to drive improvement activities.

· Carry out and monitor measurements for initial sampling, initial production runs, GMP activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), and CPK analyses, etc. for Mauer USA projects in accordance with customer requirements.

· Provides support in conducting internal audits and is the first point of contact for external audits such as customer or certification audits in the area of QA.

Quality Control

· Performance in complaint management: severity levels, recurrence rate, quality of root cause analysis (RCA), and adherence to deadlines.

· Ensuring production conformity according to all regulatory, internal, and customer-specific product and packaging requirements; ensuring that customer specifications are up-to-date and accessible.

· Ensuring the issuance of customer-required documents (e.g., Certificates of Analysis and other mandatory documentation).

· Timeliness and accuracy of required quality and food safety reporting

· Documentation and reporting of all supplier-related quality issues according to standard processes; Supporting the logistics team in handling complaints.

· Overall responsibility for the plant's quality control program, including test equipment (operation/calibration/verification), product testing, data acquisition, data integrity, and rework management.

· Ensuring that all employees performing quality checks in production are appropriately trained and qualified.

· Leading the quality team.

· Maintaining and managing customer relationships.

Requirements

· At least 5 years of professional experience in quality management in manufacturing or demonstrable success in a comparable role.

· At least 1 year of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Extensive knowledge of quality processes and tools (APQP, FMEA, etc.).

· In depth knowledge of CI Tools (RCA, SQDC, Lean, etc.).

· Experienced in using measurement tools including CMM.

· Proficient in MS Excel, SPC databases, and Word.

· Strong data orientation and fact-based approach.

· Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with leaderships, customers, and colleagues — able to understand, explain, and communicate complex issues.

· Strong leadership skills: independent, exemplary, and team-oriented.

· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

· ISO 9001 certification knowledge (auditor) is an advantage.

· Experience with customer and external audits.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
