The Position:
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in our Perth office, responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering technically excellent engineering designs for, and consultancy services to our clients, and working collaboratively with other structural offices and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Performing a senior design engineer role on projects.
- Mentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior resources.
- Assist with bid preparation and submittals as required.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships on projects and winning new work from these relationships.
- Driving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.
Who we’re looking for:
- Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or similar
- Significant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering background
- Experienced with structural investigations of existing structures as well as construction phase inspections if required.
- Flexible professional to work on projects from minor reviews to major structural developments.
- Previous responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery
- Chartered Engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NER
- Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of RC/PT concrete, structural steel and mass timber
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.
