FIELD ENGINEER - INSPECTOR
Experienced or entry level full-time position working out of Ardaman & Associates, Inc. The qualified candidate will be responsible for field inspection of heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, phosphogypsum stack expansion and closure construction, drain/pipe installation and backfill, soil density testing, geosynthetic liner installation monitoring, concrete sampling and testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing. This position will provide a dynamic, team-oriented work environment and an exceptional opportunity for career growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a university program in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management.
- Technically proficient with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel and work at remote sites in the U.S. and internationally, including but not limited to countries such as Saudi Arabia, Brazil and others.
- Available to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Capable of walking on slopes and uneven terrain.
- Must be able to work outdoors in hot weather conditions for extended periods (8 to 12 hours per day).
- Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record that meets company standards.
- Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
