Ardaman has the following opportunity available: FIELD ENGINEER - INSPECTOR Experienced or entry level full-time position working out of Ardaman & Associates, Inc. The qualified candidate will be responsible for field inspection of heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, phosphogypsum stack expansion and closure construction, drain/pipe installation and backfill, soil density testing, geosynthetic liner installation monitoring, concrete sampling and testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing. This position will provide a dynamic, team-oriented work environment and an exceptional opportunity for career growth. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a university program in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management. Technically proficient with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willing and able to travel and work at remote sites in the U.S. and internationally, including but not limited to countries such as Saudi Arabia, Brazil and others. Available to work weekends and extended hours as needed. Capable of walking on slopes and uneven terrain. Must be able to work outdoors in hot weather conditions for extended periods (8 to 12 hours per day). Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record that meets company standards.
