What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Preop/PACU Registered Nurse position at TETON VALLEY HEALTH CARE, INC?
Preop/PACU RN acts as a team member by aiding in the supervision and administration of quality care in the hospital. This position may manage the facility during hours that the administrator and House Supervisor are not present. This role is accountable for planning, organizing, directing and delivering patient care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures among patient/family, medicine, nursing, ancillary and other team personnel. This position acts as a patient advocate, assessing patients for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort and safety needs. The Preop/PACU RN maintains current knowledge and personal education about standards of professional nursing practices and attends staff meetings and other training required by TVHC. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling the needs of a 24/7 facility.
