Teton Hand Therapy is committed to providing exceptional, personalized care for a wide range of upper extremity conditions. We currently staff two full time OTs, and one part time OT. Two of these therapists are CHTs with the third sitting for the exam this year. We are currently seeking a third full time therapist with experience, or extreme interest in outpatient hand therapy. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hand Therapist (OT or PT) at our Jackson, WY clinic. CHT is preferred, but willing to provide training and mentorship to the right candidate. This is a very active community, so the majority of our clients present with acute orthopedic or peripheral neurological injuries and post-operative conditions. Overuse injuries are also common. We work primarily with the local orthopedic office who staffs two board certified hand surgeons. We pride ourselves in providing quality 1:1 care, as each client is scheduled for 1 hour therapy sessions. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and modifying treatment plans, creating custom splints, and providing hands-on therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaboration with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals is integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in hand therapy, upper extremity rehabilitation, and splint fabrication
- Experience in assessment, treatment planning, and implementing therapy for a variety of conditions
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- CHT certification preferred; OT or PT licensure required (or ability to attain WY licensure upon hire)
- Ability to maintain high professional standards and deliver compassionate care
- Experience in an outpatient clinical setting is an advantage
