For nearly 50 years, Test of Time Plumbing Heating Air & Electrical has helped homeowners throughout Greater Boston and Metro West improve the comfort, efficiency, and reliability of their homes. We're looking for an experienced leader to guide our HVAC service department and help technicians succeed. If you enjoy coaching people, solving operational challenges, and turning goals into results, this opportunity offers the chance to put those strengths to work.

As our HVAC Service Manager, you'll manage daily operations, support team development, and maintain high standards for workmanship and customer care. We value clear communication, consistent follow-through, and leaders who take an active role in their team's success.

Pay: $125,000-$140,000 per year

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily HVAC service and maintenance operations, balancing staffing, scheduling, and customer needs
• Coach technicians on service quality, customer communication, and sales performance
• Set clear expectations, monitor department results, and help the team achieve its goals
• Evaluate completed work and address opportunities to improve quality and consistency
• Develop training plans that strengthen technical skills and support employee growth
• Manage recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to maintain a capable, dependable team
• Help resolve technical questions, customer concerns, and workflow challenges
• Reinforce safe work practices and adherence to company policies and service procedures
• Identify practical ways to improve department efficiency and performance
  
  

What You Bring

• Three or more years of leadership or management experience
• HVAC knowledge preferred
• Experience providing sales training and developing team members
• A history of building productive teams and following through on performance expectations
• A customer-focused approach to service and problem-solving
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
• The ability to provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing support
