What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Inspector position at Test-Con Incorporated?
Test-Con, Inc. is an independent Material Testing and Inspection service firm with capabilities in providing a wide range of services in our laboratory located in Danbury, Connecticut. For more than 31 years we have worked on numerous projects throughout Connecticut and New York State.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Inspect work for conformance with plans and specifications.
Site inspections of Concrete, Masonry, Rebar, HMA, Structural Steel, fireproofing, , etc.
Provide daily field inspection reports and identify discrepancies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Travel to jobsites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have current certification in any of the following areas listed below:
ACI Level I and 11
ICC Reinforced Concrete
CWI or UT level 2
ICC Bolting
ICC Masonry and Fireproofing
NETTCP or HMA or PTI cert
PE License with relevant experience
# ACI Aggregate and Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician
