Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP installation activities across multiple construction sites, ensuring alignment with project schedules and specifications.
• Manage and supervise onsite teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure high performance, safety compliance, and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to interpret design intent accurately and resolve any discrepancies or issues proactively.
• Develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; monitor progress regularly and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Oversee procurement processes utilizing Construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and manage contracts effectively to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to foster a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, cost control measures, quality assurance protocols, and change order management to keep projects financially on track.
• Supervise the review of construction drawings for accuracy; interpret technical details for team members; ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing; oversee quality control processes to uphold construction standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among management teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers; manage conflict resolution swiftly to maintain project momentum.

Skills

• Extensive experience with heavy civil or commercial construction projects involving complex MEP systems.
• Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P3), Prolog, HeavyBid, and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques; ability to develop realistic timelines and coordinate multiple trades efficiently.
• Deep understanding of technical drawings review—interpreting blueprints for electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems—and ensuring precise implementation.
• Proven track record managing teams in a fast-paced environment; excellent supervisory skills with a focus on crew management and safety leadership.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards; experience conducting safety audits and implementing safety protocols on-site.
• Skilled in contract administration including reviewing contracts, managing change orders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Ability to interpret technical data using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing; strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting onsite issues.
• Effective communication skills for managerial roles—coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors—and managing project documentation diligently.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost estimation, quality control measures, and project scheduling within the scope of large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
