What You'll Do
Design, develop, enhance, and debug real-time embedded firmware in C for the Vehicle Charging Interface System Deliver high-quality, safety-critical code in a production real-time embedded environment Architect and implement firmware supporting bidirectional charging and V2X energy transfer Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and controls teams to define actuation, sensing, and protection requirements Develop and optimize peripheral drivers and sensor interfaces for actuator control and external charger communication Implement standardized charging protocols and ensure interoperability across global markets Drive firmware performance, scalability, robustness, and tight hardware integration Lead hands-on hardware bring-up, validation, and root-cause debugging Establish and promote engineering best practices, code quality standards, and continuous improvements Partner cross-functionally with hardware, controls, systems integration, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver production-ready solutions
What You'll Bring
2 years of experience in real-time embedded software development Strong proficiency in C or C with software fundamentals: firmware architecture, microprocessors, real-time systems, algorithms, data structures, modular design, and maintainability Hands-on experience with microcontroller peripherals such as timers, ADC, GPIO, PWM, SPI, and I2C Experience debugging hardware/software integration issues in lab and system environments with a solid validation strategy Ability to read electrical schematics and understand circuit behavior Familiarity with CCS, ISO 15118, PLC, or Ethernet-based automotive communication Experience with automotive standards and tools such as Git, MISRA-C, CAN, and UDS Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
