We own the platform that enables owners to interact with their cars and developers to build device-connected applications. The platform includes Authentication systems and other back-end services powering vehicles and mobile apps. You will evolve across the tech stack to deliver features to millions of customers and improve our products.
We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer specialized in web services and distributed systems. The platform you build will scale novel functionality to millions of users and devices.
What You'll Do
- Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
- Improve UI/UX for our Authentication experiences
- Migrate systems to designs with improved maintainability and performance
- Build device-side software to manage security, connectivity, commands and telemetry
- Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
- Work closely with product, SRE and infrastructure teams
What You'll Bring
- 3 years of strong web development experience building highly-reliable, mission-critical software
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience
- Extensive experience with frontend and backend development, with frequent production releases
- Deep knowledge of best practices, information security, and API design principles
- Experience with React or equivalent
- Experience with gathering and building requirements from multiple stakeholders
- Go and Kubernetes a plus

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Salary : $172,000 - $312,000
