Duties
- Oversee daily operations of Section 8 / LIHTC property, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and program guidelines.
- Manage tenant applications, conduct eligibility screenings, and verify income documentation using OneSite property management software.
- Coordinate lease signings, renewals, and rent collections while maintaining accurate data entry and filing records.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, lease agreements, contracts, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure lawful occupancy practices.
- Conduct regular property inspections and oversee property maintenance to uphold safety standards and resident satisfaction.
- Resolve tenant concerns promptly through effective conflict management and customer service skills.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, correspondence, and compliance documentation; prepare reports for internal review or regulatory audits.
- Collaborate with leasing agent, maintenance team, and external agencies to optimize occupancy rates and community engagement.
- Stay current on updates in HUD, LIHTC, and facilities management to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing LIHTC and Section 8 properties with a solid understanding of program compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in OneSite property management software; strong data entry and office experience are essential.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, contracts, and legal administrative procedures related to affordable housing.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with effective phone etiquette and relationship management skills.
- Background in real estate administrative functions including filing, data tracking, conflict resolution, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with property leasing processes, facilities management, and property maintenance oversight.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal documentation, compliance records, and financial transactions.
