As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with industrial machinery, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to machine breakdowns using mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks.
- Complete work order requests for improvements and non-breakdown repairs.
- Collaborate with the production, engineering, and quality teams to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic devices and pumps.
- Source parts and services from vendors by completing purchase requisitions and obtaining quotes.
- Operate tool room equipment to produce or repair machine parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent; secondary education in trade school preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong background in machine repair, machining, and welding.
- Experience with electrical component safety and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with drives, motors, heating systems, and automated equipment.
- Troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley PLC software (Logix 5000).
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft products.
