Billing Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team. This is a key position within our clinic and plays an essential role in ensuring our billing operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage multiple responsibilities at once, communicate effectively with different departments, insurance companies, attorneys, and patients, and maintain a high level of accuracy in everything they do. This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims and patient balances.

Review EOBs, post payments, and process denials, appeals, and re-submissions.

Prepare and manage PIP Suit packages, demands, and related documentation.

Maintain accurate billing records and document all billing activities.

Communicate with insurance carriers, legal offices, management, and internal departments.

Participate in team meetings and provide billing updates and reports.

Mail bills and other billing-related correspondence as needed.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Identify and resolve billing issues while helping improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Medical PIP billing experience required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing needs.

Professional attitude with strong follow-through and accountability.

Comfortable working closely with management and multiple departments.

This is a critical role that requires accuracy, initiative, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while supporting the success of the clinic.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
