Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime

We are seeking a Service Scheduling Dispatcher who enjoys staying organized, solving scheduling challenges, and communicating with both customers and field technicians. This position plays an essential role in coordinating daily operations and ensuring every customer receives timely, professional service.

Position Overview

As a Service Scheduling Dispatcher, you will oversee daily technician schedules, coordinate incoming service requests, and communicate with customers throughout the service process. Your ability to organize multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service will directly contribute to the success of our operations.

Daily Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer calls in a courteous and professional manner

• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation appointments

• Assign service calls based on technician availability, location, experience, and priority

• Monitor daily schedules and make adjustments as new requests or schedule changes occur

• Keep customers informed regarding arrival times, delays, and appointment updates

• Coordinate return visits, warranty calls, maintenance appointments, and follow-up services

• Maintain accurate customer records, work orders, and scheduling information within company software

• Support technicians by providing timely communication throughout the workday

• Work closely with managers and office staff to improve daily efficiency

• Assist with general administrative responsibilities when needed

Qualifications

• Two or more years of dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience preferred

• Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or another home service industry is beneficial

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills

• Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced office

• Experience using dispatching, scheduling, CRM, or service management software

• Comfortable coordinating multiple field employees throughout the day

• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• Professional attitude with effective problem-solving skills

• Dependable attendance and commitment to delivering exceptional service
