What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at Terros and Careers?
As a Behavioral Health Technician in our Community Living Programs you will work directly with clients to identify and achieve their rehabilitation goals, by providing support and engaging them in independent living skills building, employment and vocational skills. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management and crisis management for either our residential or community living sites.
You will facilitate groups and evaluate and document their progress toward their treatment goals and coordinate care with our clients’ support, such as clinical teams, family and any community supports.
We are seeking ONLY afternoon 3pm-11:30pm shifts with varying days of availability. Please see the below scheduling options for 32-hour and 40-hour full-time positions.

Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED and at least 1.5 years of relevant employment experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- An Associate’s degree in a behavioral health field; OR
- A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field; OR
- A non-behavioral health field bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant employment experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- A master's degree in a behavioral health field
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background check.
- Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance card.
- Must pass a DCS Central Registry search with no disqualifying events.
- Current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Pay: $17.18 - $19.21 per hour
