Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an efficient front desk environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in office management and computer applications. This position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued. This position starts off as part time, 2 weeks per month however can also be offered at full-time.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, utilizing proper phone etiquette
- Utilize your solid foundation of dental knowledge and experience to confidently answer patient inquiries, accurately navigate treatment and scheduling phases, and seamlessly guide patients through their care journey
- Manage front desk operations including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries
- Handle clerical tasks such as data entry, word processing, proofreading, and maintaining client records
- Organize and manage office supplies and administrative documentation
- Assist with calendar management and coordinate appointments for staff or executives
- Support office management tasks including filing, mail distribution, and basic administrative support
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to reflect a professional environment
Experience
- Prior office experience or administrative experience in the dental or oral surgery field is required
- Proven skills in office management, calendar management, and clerical duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone reception best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle client communication with professionalism and courtesy
- Familiarity with time management techniques to prioritize tasks efficiently
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
