What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rigging Crew position at TERRA OILFIELD SERVICES LLC?
- Assembling and disassembling oilfield equipment such as pumps, tanks, and piping according to specific procedures and safety guidelines at different work sites.
- Loading and unloading trucks & trailers with necessary equipment and supplies, as well as operating forklifts and other equipment for moving materials.
- Troubleshooting basic electrical or mechanical issues with rig control systems.
- Basic maintenance and repair tasks on equipment in the field and in the yard. Installing, maintaining and removing pumps and generators at job sites.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company, customer and industry standards and regulations. Using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
- Requires physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and performing various manual tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records on equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data.
- Attending and successfully completing any required or on-going training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.
- Coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless procedures and communication across all aspects of rig up and rig down operations.
- Operating common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Driving company trucks and trailers to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Must be able to write and speak English
- One year of Rig Up & Rig Down experience and/or equivalent training.
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented, take instruction and thrive in a team environment.
- Be able to safely operate a skid steer/sky track forklift.
- Must be able to comprehend and do basic math functions, such as multiplication and division.
- Must have valid driver’s license, clean MVR and pass a background, drug and alcohol screening.
