In this energetic role, you will support an ophthalmologist by performing patient care duties, assisting with clinical procedures, and managing medical records with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient care by assisting with intake, vision measurement, and preliminary assessments including glasses measurement.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Support clinical procedures using aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure safety.
  • Operate opthalmic equipment and assist with vision tests, visual field testing, and ophthalmic photography.
  • Manage medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Assist front desk staff with medical records management, including filing, retrieval, and secure storage of sensitive documents.
  • Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of medical experience. Prior experience in medical office settings or ophthalmology clinics is a plus.
  • Commitment and desire to provide caring and confidential patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills with Word; with Excel is a plus.
  • Communicate well and work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in operating ophthalmic equipment.

Pay: $14.50 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Salary : $15 - $20
