Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty
- Partner with the Regional Manager to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance product knowledge and customer service
- Create and manage team schedules to ensure proper coverage
- Oversee visual merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations and company policies
- Conduct audits for timesheets and inventory; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Manage cash handling processes, including cash drops and courier pick-ups
- Address escalated customer concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
- Open and close the store in alignment with company procedures
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions
- Build strong relationships with both staff and customers
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience (retail preferred)
- Knowledge of cannabis compliance laws strongly preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Solid math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable transportation and full open availability
- Ability to commit to a minimum 50-hour work week
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noisy environments
- Regular exposure to cleaning agents and standard workplace materials
