Pre-Scanning
- Review and assess physical documents to determine eligibility for digitization based on established guidelines
- Organize, collate, and prepare documents for scanning
- Ensure completeness and proper sequencing prior to digitization
- Assist with document handling, packaging, and shipping preparation
- Support the disposal of documents not required for retention in accordance with procedures
- Review scanned documents (PDFs) to ensure:
- Clarity and legibility
- Accuracy and completeness
- Correct pagination and sequencing
- No duplicate or missing pages
- Identify, flag, and escalate any scanning errors or discrepancies
- Ensure issues are corrected in a timely manner
- Properly store, label, and organize validated digital files
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to follow structured processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable following direction while proactively asking clarifying questions
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
- Comfortable working in a document storage or archival setting
- Prior experience in document quality control, records management, or digitization projects
