We are seeking a (remote) Business Development Manager for Fire Testing & Water Flow to support the Eastern U.S. Our client is a group of companies operating in the fire testing and water flow measurement industry and is a recognized global leader in solutions for testing fire hydrants, fire pumps, standpipes, and water-based fire protection systems. Their products, including intelligent software solutions, are trusted by municipalities, contractors, engineers, and inspectors across North America and in the UK.
This is a customer-facing sales role responsible for driving revenue growth across the Eastern U.S. through new business development, account expansion, trade shows, and in-person product demonstrations. The ideal candidate brings strong relationship-building skills with experience in either water flow, fire pump, flow meter, water suppression, or pump sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a defined Eastern U.S. territory
- Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships
- Identify project opportunities and specification needs
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast
- Partner with inside sales and cross-functional teams
- Travel regularly to support customers and attend industry events
- Experience in the water flow or fire protection testing industry
- Working knowledge of NFPA and AWWA standards
- Strong technical and commercial communication skills
- Ability to align customer needs with technical solutions
- Willingness to travel 40-50%
