Required Skills
- Strong experience with batch and streaming data processing, particularly in managing intraday micro-batches and trading partner data.
- Proven commitment to CI/CD and developer discipline, including adherence to commit practices and Jira ticket traceability.
- Extensive expertise in AWS for building data pipelines and managing infrastructure, specifically in separating the T-Bar data store into its own AWS account.
- Proficiency in Python for streamlining legacy stored procedures and developing new data processing logic.
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a focus on Terraform for effective infrastructure deployment and account separation.
- Ability to work onsite in New York. Certification in relevant technologies (AWS, Terraform) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of relevant experience in a technology leadership role, ideally in a data-driven environment.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, including tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor, for enhancing code development and data quality rule generation. Knowledge of data governance frameworks, particularly related to data catalogs and AWS DataZone.
