SAP MM Consultant (all gender) - Any location in Germany

The Opportunity

As an SAP MM Consultant, you will strategically align technology with business objectives. This involves direct collaboration with clients as the client’s trusted advisor and oversee the analysis, design, and implementation of technology best practices for effective business solutions.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborate closely with clients, providing valuable assistance in the implementation of cutting-edge SAP systems.
• Execute the build, testing, and deployment phases, emphasizing Life Science best practices and innovative customer processes within Material Management environment.
• Conduct process analysis and design or redesign of Integrated Material Management workflows, aligning with industry best practices and the client's business model
• Lead tasks and projects to ensure successful project outcomes.

Your Experience

First and foremost, you are a genuine Management Consultant with exceptional communication skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a collaborative approach to creating exceptional solutions. You will also have relevant SAP skills, including:

• Should possess 7 to 12 years of experience in large scale SAP implementation projects.
• At least 2 full project lifecycles as an SAP MM Consultant and experience in S/4HANA is essential.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions that streamline logistics operations and enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Manage the configuration and troubleshooting of IDOCs for seamless data exchange between SAP MM and external systems.
• Deep understanding of business processes in Procurement, Inventory Management, Stock Movements, Physical Inventory, Batch Management, and Invoice Verification.
• Experience with Application Management, Application development, roll out and implementation as consultant.
• In depth understanding of SAP MM configuration and project methodology such as Agile and waterfall. 
• Understanding of various master data relevant for SAP MM
• Proficiency in SAP template design, functional configuration & customization, and adept at providing business consulting services for SAP MM module.
• Knowledgeable about SAP MM interfaces and integration with other SAP modules (Finance, PP, SD, EWM).
• Additional knowledge life science domain and other procurement application such as COUPA or Ariba will be advantage other than SAP MM.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori or other SAP modules and emerging technologies is an advantage.
• A proven track record in a ‘Big 4’, Major System Integrator ‘SI’, or specialist SAP Consulting Firm would be preferred.
• Business fluent in both German and English.
• Experience in Life Sciences, or process manufacturing industries, particularly in sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, medical manufacturing and chemicals, would be advantageous.
