Position Overview
The Senior Salesforce Developer is a technical leader responsible for translating organizational needs into robust Salesforce enhancements, customizations, and integrations. This role partners deeply across technology teams, business units, external vendors, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑impact solutions within a complex, modern enterprise ecosystem.
You will mentor junior developers, lead Salesforce UI and integration initiatives, participate in DevSecOps modernization efforts, and contribute to the evolution of a world‑class digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Enhancements
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple business units.
- Regularly build and enhance Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, stories, and development cards.
Integration & Architecture
- Collaborate with cross‑system developers to architect and consume APIs.
- Participate in integration design across complex multi‑system environments.
- Contribute to architecture discussions involving distributed systems, redundancy planning, and cloud‑native applications.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex development challenges.
- Lead front‑end development efforts including Visualforce, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Coordinate project activities and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives and CI/CD strategic planning.
Business Partnership
- Engage with senior stakeholders to translate organizational requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of enterprise‑level brand, culture, and customer impact.
- Consolidate requirements across cross‑functional groups with strong analytical insight.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience/training.
Technical Experience
- 5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development in large, complex environments.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II.
- Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experienced with JavaScript, JSON, XML, Java, C#, C , SOAP/REST web services, SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with cloud and virtualization platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially GearSet, is preferred.
Additional Salesforce Certifications (Preferred)
