Mechanical Engineer (CNC coding / CAD/CAM)

We have a career opportunity with one of our key clients for a Mechanical Engineer in Pottstown, PA. Our client has been in business for over 100 years, so it is a stable, profitable metal fabrication shop. Currently, they need someone like you who can work on the floor as a CNC programmer, as well as work in the back as a designer (Solid Works); someone who can provide quotes to the customers/sales teams. This is a lead role and an opportunity for career advancement.

Position summary

• Quote new customer projects

• Fixture design for machining, welding, 5 axis lasers

• Back-up programmer for laser and water jet

• Create BOM’s and routings

• Repair machinery/equipment as needed
