About the Role
A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support the fabrication and production of quartz crystals, frequency control devices, and spectrum control products. This is a hands‐on manufacturing engineering role focused on process improvement, tooling, and close collaboration with production and design teams.
What You’ll Do
- Support and improve manufacturing processes including soldering, welding/joining, lead forming, and assembly
- Apply Lean manufacturing and data‐driven methods to reduce waste and improve material flow
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturable, compliant designs
- Create and maintain production documentation, work instructions, and procedures
- Use SolidWorks to support manufacturing analysis and process improvements
- Specify tooling, fixtures, and equipment; support capital equipment justification
- Work cross‐functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Hands‐on experience with assembled and soldered components
- SolidWorks proficiency (required)
- Familiarity with CNC machining and general manufacturing processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with ITAR‐controlled data (U.S. citizenship required)
