Additional Responsibilities
Athletic Trainer Support During Transport
- Accompany athletes during transportation from Cookeville to the University.
- Support medical needs during transport, including injury management, post-operative support, and coordination of care with TOA physicians.
Among the qualifications for our Athletic Trainer:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in athletic training.
- Must possess State of Tennessee licensure, and NATA certification.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Demonstrated success providing or supporting an exceptional school-based training program as well as patient-care in a clinical environment.
- With advanced notice, must also be available to support additional needs of the University’s athletic programs. This may include coverage assistance, clinical support, or coordination for other sports programs as requested and agreed upon.
