What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at Tennessee Community Services Agency?
Tennessee Community Services Agency is seeking a part time Direct Care staff to provide assistance to individuals who reside in a secured apartment facility and have experience a traumatic brain injury. The apartment facilities where clients served are located at 2900 Coleman Road, Memphis TN 38128 and 1456 Gillham Drive, Memphis TN 38134. All travel to/from is reimbursed according to the State of Tennessee reimbursement guidelines.
Hours worked: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 4:30pm
Job Duties
High school diploma or GED.
A valid drivers license.
Dependable transportation.
1-2 years of work related experience.
CPR/First Aid training is a plus.
Must authorize the release of any investigative and criminal records obtained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to TNCSA. Background investigation must indicate no conviction of a felony.

- Perform light housekeeping and on-site laundry for clients served.
- Light meal preparation.
- Provide assistance with mobility/transferring.
- Other assistance as needed to help the client live as independently as possible.
