A Dallas-based energy investment firm is hiring an Associate to support deal valuation and capital deployment for its flagship fund, which closed at target earlier this year and is in an active deployment window.
This is a hands-on seat on a lean investment team. You'll move quickly across screening, modeling, diligence, and portfolio work, with direct exposure to the senior team from day one. The firm invests across energy and adjacent areas, and the new Associate will spend the majority of their time on core fund deals, with some exposure to broader platform initiatives over time.
What You'll Own
- Building and pressure-testing financial models for new investments
- Running diligence workstreams alongside senior investors
- Producing investment memos and IC materials
- Supporting portfolio monitoring and value-creation work post-close
- Contributing to thematic deal screening and sector research

Requirements
- 1.5–3 years of investment banking experience with meaningful energy sector exposure
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Clean, structured written communication
- Bachelor's degree from a strong undergraduate program
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas
- Available to start immediately or late summer 2026
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
