What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Assistance Program Manager position at Tenderloin Housing Clinic and Careers?
Tenderloin Housing Clinic (THC) is seeking dedicated Rental Assistance Program Manager who will be responsible for oversight of the Rental Assistance Program that provides advocacy and support for eligible individuals and families funded by the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD). They will work directly with Rental Assistance Specialists to provide housing assessments and stabilization plans to individuals and families to help them secure permanent and stable housing. The Rental Assistance Program Manager will work extensively with community agencies as collaborative partners in accordance with Tenderloin Housing Clinic’s (THC) Mission, Core Values, and Customer Service Philosophy.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in related field strongly preferred.
- Must have 2 years of experience training and/or supervising staff.
- Must have 2 years of experience in leading community organizing campaigns.
- Must have a strong commitment to social justice.
- Must have experience working effectively with diverse, low-income, immigrant, homeless and/or formerly homeless population.
