Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of children across various age groups.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
- Support children’s social-emotional development through Christian counseling principles and nurturing interactions.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain order and promote respectful interactions among students.
- Assist with daily childcare routines including snack time, outdoor activities, and rest periods.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including basic first aid procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address individual needs.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Experience in special education or working with children who have diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
- Background in sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare enhances your ability to create engaging activities for children.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
