Job Title: Caregivers.
Job Summary:
We are expanding and are seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals who are elderly, disabled, recovering from illness, or otherwise in need of personal care as well as maintaining the home cleanliness. The Caregiver will help clients with daily activities, ensure their safety and well-being, and provide companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Provide medication passing and ensure medications are taken as prescribed.
- Assist with mobility, including helping clients move around safely or using assistive devices.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to family or medical professionals.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health assistance is a plus.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a bonus, but not always required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Work Environment:
- Work is typically performed in assisted living home setting.
- May include working evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts depending on the needs.
