Role Description
This is a full-time/ par-time, on-site Caregiver role located in Kalamazoo, MI. The Caregiver will provide daily assistance to individuals in need, focusing on activities such as personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. The Caregiver will promote the well-being of clients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Communication with family members and other care providers will be integral to supporting the clients' overall care plans.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is required (we provide training!), though previous caregiving experience is recommended.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- High level of empathy, patience, and reliability
- Flexibility to adapt to clients’ individual needs and schedules
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Required
