Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Yoga Instructors to join the team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Yoga Instructor, you will welcome guests visiting the venue and facilitate yoga classes for guests wishing to experience relaxation during their stay. What will you do?
- Teach yoga classes to students of varying skill levels, experience, and interests
- Promote wellness in the community through teaching classes, workshops, and private lessons
- Create a safe and supportive environment for guests to learn new poses and deepen their practice
- Motivate guests to practice regularly by providing them with appropriate challenges and encouragement
- Assist students during their yoga class by correcting their posture or position as needed
- Demonstrate practice and techniques
- Connect with students during the yoga classes through fun, intelligent sequencing
- Offer training recommendations to improve the practice of yoga
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a certified yoga instructor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability
Physical requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift items to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of the shift
