SharePoint Content Administrator – SharePoint Online / Power Platform

Location: Onsite – Washington, DC
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a SharePoint Content Administrator to support the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Treasury Foreign Intelligence Network (TFIN), a mission-critical classified IT environment supporting national security and intelligence operations.

This position will support both the existing SharePoint environment and the organization’s transition to SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with government users and business stakeholders while also possessing enough technical depth to support SharePoint Online administration, workflow automation, migration activities, and light development.

This is a strong opportunity for a SharePoint administrator who has grown beyond basic content management and has experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, or related Microsoft 365 technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support SharePoint sites, site collections, document libraries, lists, permissions, metadata, and content.
  • Work directly with government stakeholders and business-unit representatives to gather requirements and understand how offices use SharePoint.
  • Support the transition from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
  • Assist users with content organization, permissions, document management, and SharePoint functionality.
  • Help identify what content should be migrated, retained, archived, or rebuilt in the future SharePoint Online environment.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, navigation, permissions, and related functionality.
  • Support testing and validation of migrated content, workflows, permissions, and business processes.
  • Assist with Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions where appropriate.
  • Support basic SharePoint development, scripting, or configuration activities based on experience.
  • Work with SharePoint developers and architects on more complex technical issues and modernization efforts.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and provide Tier II/III support as appropriate.
  • Help develop user guides, training materials, SOPs, and knowledge-base documentation.
  • Support governance, records-management, and security requirements established by Treasury.
  • Participate in migration planning, user acceptance testing, stakeholder meetings, and project status activities.
  • Maintain clear documentation of issues, actions, risks, and completed work.

The underlying PWS specifically includes requirements gathering, management of development/test/staging/production environments, site development, permissions, workflows, migration, PowerShell, custom SharePoint solutions, training, and Tier II/III support.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365.
  • Experience managing SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content.
  • Ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into practical SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting SharePoint issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in a classified environment in Washington, DC.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with developers, architects, project management, and government stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power Automate.
  • Experience with Power Apps.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint migrations.
  • Experience with legacy SharePoint environments such as SharePoint 2016.
  • Experience with workflow development or light SharePoint development.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, retention, records management, metadata, or governance.
  • Experience working in DoD, Intelligence Community, Treasury, or other federal classified environments.
  • Experience supporting business users during modernization or cloud-transition efforts.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not simply a content publisher. We are looking for someone who can comfortably support users and administer SharePoint while also possessing enough technical curiosity and experience to contribute to SharePoint Online modernization, migration, workflow automation, and light development.
