Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The clinic provides care for companion animals and exotics and is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a well-supported, collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of clinical services including wellness exams, preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment for both routine and more complex cases, including exotics. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, performing medical and surgical procedures, communicating effectively with clients, and working collaboratively with the wider team. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload and supports both general practice and more advanced medical interests. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available.
Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility offering comprehensive services across primary care, diagnostics, and treatment. Equipment and services include digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, oxygen and transfusion therapy, dental care including dental radiography, and intensive care capabilities. The practice provides a broad range of services including preventative medicine, general surgery, dentistry, behavioral and nutritional counseling, pain management, and chronic disease management. Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a highly experienced and long-standing support staff, creating a collaborative and stable working environment with a strong focus on teamwork, mentorship, and delivering excellent patient care.
