Oakfield, ME – FT/Days – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Job Description:
Immediate openings for Lumber Handlers to work for a well-established industrial facility in Oakfield. Excellent daytime schedule. Previous experience helpful, but not required. Full-Time/Days; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday; $16.00/hr.
The Lumber Handler will organize, stack, and transport finished lumber products for storage and shipment. Employee will be asked to perform manual labor as well as operate machinery. Must have good communication skills and be able to follow site-specific safety requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Handle, sort, and stack rough cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade.
- Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate areas of the yard.
- Use shovels and brooms to clean up any loose debris or sawdust on the job site.
- Assist in production of materials as needed.
- Adhere to all safety measures for the job site in a professional and consistent manner.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication skills; must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial work preferred, but not required.
Schedule: Full-time/Days; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
Pay: $16.00/hr.
