About the Role:
- Support attorneys and staff by performing various administrative tasks.
- Organize correspondence, prepare documents, update files, and maintain calendars.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, take messages, and coordinate appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of contact details.
- Correspond with clients, financial providers, and other law firms.
- Coordinate multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.
- Organize files and documents using practice management software.
- Assist with preparation of legal documents, including wills, trusts, and real estate closings.
- Proofread and edit documents for errors.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; paralegal training preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in an administrative role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and common office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with common legal terminology.
