Temple Har Shalom in Warren, NJ (Somerset County) is hiring Sunday morning Religious School teachers for the 2026–2027 school year!

- Two Hebrew/Prayer Teachers
- One Permanent Substitute Teacher
Classes meet 25 Sunday mornings between September 2026 and May 2027, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
We're Looking for Educators Who:
- Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit
- Create warm, welcoming classrooms where every child feels they belong
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage diverse learners
- Are comfortable incorporating technology and project-based learning
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
- Come prepared and share lesson plans and classroom updates regularly
- Believe that Jewish learning should be joyful and fun!
In addition to Sunday teaching, faculty members are expected to attend 2-3 paid faculty meetings throughout the year and at least one Friday evening grade-level service.
Teaching experience is preferred, but we enthusiastically welcome new educators who are excited to learn and grow.
