Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Hebrew Teacher to join our team at Gottesman RTW Academy, located in Randolph, NJ. In this on-site role, the Hebrew Teacher will create and deliver engaging lesson plans, facilitate language immersion, and integrate elements of Jewish culture and tradition into classroom instruction. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues, and collaboratively contributing to curriculum development. The teacher will also actively participate in school events and foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Hebrew language, Jewish Studies, and Jewish Education
- Experience in Curriculum Development and lesson planning
- Proficiency in Teaching methodologies and student-centered learning approaches
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for fostering a love of learning and cultural heritage among students
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Hebrew, or a related field
- Previous experience teaching Hebrew to various age groups is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a vibrant, diverse school environment
