Position Summary
Temperature Control Maintenance is seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial HVAC/R Installer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, piping, controls, and related components while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Essential Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Install rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in equipment, exhaust fans, make-up air units (MUAs), and ice machines.
- Install refrigerant piping, condensate drains, electrical connections, controls, and accessories.
- Perform equipment start-up and operational testing.
- Verify proper refrigerant charge and system performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, equipment specifications, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Service teams to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Complete all required documentation, photos, and job notes using BuildOps.
- Identify additional repair opportunities and communicate findings to the office.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in a professional manner.
- Provide professional customer service at every job site.
Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial HVAC/R installation experience preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to braze, pressure test, evacuate, and charge refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
