TempExperts is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Tampa, FL. This hands-on role involves supporting a range of production, maintenance, and warehouse activities. Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the assembly of industrial machinery and equipment under technician guidance.
- Perform basic surface preparation and paint or spray parts as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including sweeping and mopping.
- Assist with outdoor maintenance, such as lawn care and general groundskeeping.
- Help with inbound and outbound shipments:
- Receive and check incoming deliveries.
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing orders.
- Keep storage areas tidy and inventory properly arranged.
- Operate material handling tools such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided).
- Move parts and materials to staging or production areas.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and promptly report unsafe conditions.
- Take on additional labor or production tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Comfortable with tools and general mechanical tasks.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and being on your feet throughout the shift.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping environments is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a bonus; certification can be provided.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Salary : $35,573 - $46,472
