What are the responsibilities and job description for the Install Piping Tech position at Temp-Con LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Able to layout and install refrigerant piping and or VRF systems.
- Reads blueprints and interprets specifications.
- Installs hangars or supports for systems.
- Can assemble and install HVAC equipment as necessary.
- Follows all OSHA standards for safety.
- Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed.
- Organizes wok and utilizes preplanning such as the four weeks look ahead schedule.
- all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with refrigeration piping/HVAC in field operations.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of general refrigerant piping/HVAC installation.
- Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.
- Strong math skills.
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Trade school completion preferred.
- Must have correctable eyesight of 20/50.
- Able to perform shift work.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must have Valid Driver's License.
- Must have Journeyman's license.
