Staff Pharmacist

TelyRx
Dallas, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 8/31/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/2/2026

🚀 Join TelyRx as a Staff Pharmacist and Help Redefine the Pharmacy Experience!

Are you a patient-first pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? We're looking for an on-site (Dallas, TX based) Staff Pharmacist to play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.

As one of our multi-state licensed pharmacists (ideally licensed in Alabama, Nevada, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Massachusetts), you'll leverage your independent clinical judgment to verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and serve as a trusted healthcare partner. You'll help ensure every patient receives timely, safe, and personalized care - often exceeding their expectations.

At TelyRx, you'll join a team that believes no task is beneath anyone. We work together, support one another, and step in wherever needed to keep our workflow moving efficiently. You'll lead by example through professionalism, embrace both giving and receiving feedback, and become a trusted clinical and operational resource for your teammates.

Location: On-site at the assigned pharmacy (Dallas, TX).

Status: Full-time, exempt.

Reports to: General Manager

About TelyRx

At TelyRx, Our Purpose is to lead the future of healthcare - a system that revolves around our patients, not the other way round. Our Mission is to provide a radically simpler way to get the healthcare patients need, so they can be free from the constraints of today’s system. At the heart of who we are sit our TELY values (Trust, Empathy, Leveling Up, and YOLO).

TelyRx Holdings Inc. (TSX: TELY) is a publicly traded direct to consumer telehealth pharmacy platform serving patients across 48 U.S. states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. We dispense FDA-approved medications for everyday acute and chronic conditions through a model that prioritizes patient access, clinical credibility, and operational trust. We are not a compounding pharmacy. We do not handle controlled substances. We are a real pharmacy that delivers a real patient relationship at the convenience, trust and safety our patients need.

Our pharmacies in Clearwater and Dallas are not fulfillment centers. They are patient service pods. They combine pharmacy dispensing, shipping logistics, and clinical authority in a single operating unit. The General Manager of each pharmacy is the on-site leader who owns the patient experience, the operational metrics, and the culture of the location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Final verification and clinical intervention. You apply independent professional judgment to drug utilization review, dosing and therapeutic checks, allergy and interaction screening, and you intervene whenever the clinical picture calls for it. Fast, accurate, and safe.
  • Own the promise. You keep the pace of clinical verification and keep the queue moving so the pharmacy adheres to its promise and exceeds what the patient expects. You are accountable for promise times.
  • Pharmacist led patient outreach: refill adherence, clinical intervention, follow up, counseling
  • Lead and support the floor. You lead by example on professionalism, you give clear feedback to the technicians and up to the Pharmacy Manager, you support the technicians, and you are the floor's source of clinical and workflow knowledge.
  • Jump in. When the floor needs a hand, you jump into the work to keep a patient's order moving. We embrace the patient, and we keep the workflow flowing.
  • Keep your licenses current and support nonresident state requirements. Some states require PDMP registration and periodic reporting, including zero report filings, even though we dispense no controlled substances; you help keep those current.
  • HIPAA and patient privacy at the point of care, with minimum necessary, clean documentation.
  • Mentor and provide the licensed clinical sign off for pharmacy technicians as they train and certify.
  • To support our commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional pharmacy environment, team members are required to wear company-provided TelyRx scrubs while on duty.

What we are looking for

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or RPh from an ACPE accredited school.
  • 4 years’ years of experience in retail, specialty, mail-order, or long-term care pharmacy.
  • An active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice (Texas), with willingness to obtain nonresident licensure in additional states we serve.
  • Assume Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities.
  • Dispensing experience in mail-order, telepharmacy, specialty, or community pharmacy, comfortable in a high-throughput, non-controlled model.
  • Fast and accurate at verification, and a teammate who raises the floor's pace and quality.
  • You treat the license as a patient trust instrument, and you pick up the phone for patients. No controlled substance program experience is needed, because we run none.
  • A professional who leads by example, gives and receives feedback well, supports the technicians, and lifts the team.
  • Comfortable working in a technology-enabled pharmacy environment, utilizing CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, integrated software applications, and clinical reference tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Company-paid reimbursement for pharmacist licensure and renewal fees while employed
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) eligibility
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) program
