This position will be based at Ashburn, VA
Responsibilities
- Performs analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for a large Time and Materials contract.
- Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.
- Establishes and defines program plan requirements for assigned work.
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Monitors the status of financial accounts, ensuring that task order charges accurately reflect the correct labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs and other direct costs (ODCs).
- Monitors spending versus plan and notifies management promptly of any material variances.
- Prepares financial reports, statements, and estimates that are provided to the executive management, Government customer, or prime contractor to ensure effective fiscal management.
- Interfaces with executive management, responding to their requests for financial data. Resolves reporting and compliance issues.
- Perform detailed quality control and reconciliation for monthly invoices.
- Work with subcontractors to manage their funding, labor charges, and other direct costs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and/or work experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
- A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- DoD Secret clearance preferred but not required.
